Another childhood memory gone on the next adventure. We will remember him with much affection - and laughter- as we recalled the go-carts he made from pram wheels, string steering control, and his Dad's motor nicked from the lawn mower. He roared up and down Rapley Street and was in big trouble with his Dad and with Ted Fox the local Traffic Officer, but in sleepy Ashburton he was the most interesting lad in the neighbourhood.
