On January 4, 2024, at Nurse Maude Hospice, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Vilma, much loved father and father-in-law of Jullianne and Michael, Deidre and Jeremy, Angela, and Amanda, treasured granddad of Montarsha, and Nastassia, loved brother and brother-in-law of Neville and Robyn, Allan, Margaret and Les, and the late George and Dot. Special thanks to Lyttelton Health Centre (particularly to Dr Kim Glass), Access Community Health, Christchurch Hospital and Nurse Maude Hospice for all the care and support given to Ron.
