Born Rosemary Thacker, of Rowandale, Okains Bay. On Sunday, June 15, 2025, passed away peacefully in Christchurch, in her 96^th year, surrounded by family. Loving wife of Bruce Douglas Childs for 72 years. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Tony and Jeanette, Adrienne and Garth, and Pete and Kate. Cherished ‘Ma’ of Emily (deceased), Catherine, Heidi, Anna, Daniel, Matthew, and Thomas, and her great-grandchildren. ‘Aunty Rose’ to many, missed by many more and an inspiration to us all.
