Dearly loved husband of Jane, loved father and father-in-law of Jo Ashton-Martyn and Hugh Martyn, Kate and Richard Bell, Sue Ashton, and Elizabeth Ashton.  Proud grandfather of Henry and Yangtong, Madeleine and Ethan, Sam and Anna, Tom and Zoe, Charlotte and Ash, Georgie and Gabe, William, Harriet (deceased), Charles, and Max. Proud great-grandfather of seven.
