On March 7, 2023, in Christchurch, peacefully after a brave battle.  Dearly loved husband and best friend of Teresa, dearly loved son of Monica and Ces Newman (both deceased), loved brother of Susan (deceased) and Geoff Robinson, brother and mate of Bryan and Shirley Newman, loved nephew of Leslie and Claudia Des Forges, special friend to many.  A heartfelt thank you to WesleyCare and Nurse Maude Hospice for your special care of Terry.  Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Terry Newman, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545.  At Terry’s request a private service has been held in Christchurch.   The interment of Terry’s ashes will be held at Fairhall Cemetery, Blenheim, on Friday, March 17 at 2.00pm, to which you are invited.  Followed by a gathering, venue to be advised.
