Passed away peacefully in ICU at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, January 5, 2026, aged 80 years.  Dearly loved husband of Chris; legend of a Dad to Scott and James, their wives Monique and Erika; much-loved Granddad of William and Ben, and Ben’s partner Wynter; cherished great-Granddad of Ihi. Respected by his colleagues and loved by his many friends.  The family extend their sincere and heartfelt thanks to the staff of ICU and ED for their exceptional care, compassion, and kindness.
