On August 30, 2025, aged 84 years.

Much loved husband of the late June, and loved father and father-in-law of Paul and Sandra, Debbie, Robin (deceased), and Scott. A loved grandfather and great-grandfather. Loved brother of Patrick, Bruce, Ian, and his twin brother Kim (all deceased).  Loved brother and brother-in-law of Lindsey and Warren Cates.
