Albie passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Hanmer Springs, aged 89 years, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Sandra and Adam, Raymond (Ray) and Rhonda, Vickie and Steve, Brian and Pauline, and Tad and Ria, beloved grandfather of Mel, and Lou; Craig, Barry, and Casey; Becky, Gary, and Samantha; Anthony, and Ashleigh; Gina, and George.  Albie was also a beloved great-grandfather of his 18 amazing great-grandchildren. He was also loved by all his extended family.  We must never forget his love for the many dogs and cats over the years and in return the love they gave him, especially in his later years being his daily companions. We are especially grateful and take comfort in knowing that he was able to spend his final moments in his own home.  Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Albie Lunn, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers the family would ask if you would like to make a small contribution to the Search and Rescue NZ, something that Albie felt grateful to have been able to give his time to, for many years. In accordance with Albie’s wishes, a private cremation has been held.
