Allan and I started work together at the Invercargill Telephone Exchange in December 1963. Early on I had a car and we travelled together on occasional weekends, dropping him of at Balfour on the way to my parents at Waikaka. During this time Allan got a transfer to the Post Office Engineering branch. After this transfer I lost contact with him. Dianne, Allan was a very good friend. My best wishes to you and your family.
