Chris’ life journey ended on Friday evening, May 8, 2026, in Christchurch. Loved wife and best friend of Neville. Loved sister and sister-in-law of John and Jenefer, Pat (deceased) and Ross. Loved auntie of Siobhan and Paul, Lucy and Katya and Chris. Thank you for your care and attention Dr Paul Peterson, St George’s Cancer Care, CDHB staff, Nurse Maude, and Chemist Helen Souter. A private cremation has been held. A celebration of Chris’ life will take place at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Thursday, May 14, promptly at 2.00pm. Flowers respectfully declined. If you know Chris’ favourite colour and are happy to wear it, please do so. Those travelling in antique cars can park in front of the chapel. Due to roadworks, Wairakei Road is one-way between Breens Road and Roydvale Avenue, making access to Westpark available to west bound traffic only. Please allow extra travel time.
