Master Mariner. On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, passed away peacefully in Christchurch, surrounded by loving family. Dearly loved husband of Pearl for 61 years. Treasured father and father-in-law of Brett and Young Jo, Moana and Bizzy, and Richard. Treasured grandfather of Naomi, Miriama, Tamati, and Blake.

A peaceful end to an adventurous and fulfilling life. In lieu of flowers, donations to Action Station would be appreciated and may be made online at actionstation.org.nz.  The funeral service for Dale will be held at Oaklands, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, on Tuesday, May 5, at 10.30am, followed by private cremation.
