On Thursday, June 11, 2026, passed away peacefully in Christchurch Hospital, at the impressive age of 94 and three quarters.

Much loved husband of the late Daphne, father and father-in-law of Tony and Juliana, Anthea and Peter, and Adam and Stewart, and grandfather “Dave” of Giles, and Jarvis; Oscar, and Henry, and their partners. Brother of the late Marjorie, a loved brother-in-law and uncle.  The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Medical Progressive Care Unit at Christchurch Hospital for their care and compassion.  Funeral details to be advised.
