On June 25, 2025, peacefully at Springlands Lifestyle Village, aged 97 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Henry. Loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Kevin and Jennifer (Wellington), Tim S.M. (Wellington), Gerard and Terri Anne (Brisbane), and Rosemary and Grant Simmonds (Havelock). Loved Nana of James, Anna, Andrew, Alexandra, and Claudia, their spouses and children. Thanks to the Springlands Staff for their loving care of Denise.

A Requiem Mass will be held at St Gregory’s Catholic Church, 26 Cotswold Avenue, Bishopdale, on Friday, July 4, at 11.00am, followed by burial at Belfast Cemetery.
