(née Johnston, of Poverty Bay): On Friday, May 8, 2026, passed away peacefully at Ballarat Retirement Village, surrounded by family. Dearly loved wife of Bruce for 61 years. Much loved mother of Kenneth, Andrew, and Kirsty, and mother-in-law of Nina, and John. Cherished grandmother of Paula, Eliza, Alieske and Simone, and their children and partners. Adored great-grandmother of her 11 great-grandchildren. Many thanks to the staff of Ballarat Retirement Village for their compassionate care of Elizabeth. The funeral service for Elizabeth will be held at Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Monday, May 18, at 10.30am, followed by private cremation.
