It feels like the end of an era now that both Mary and Bernice have gone. I can still picture Mary smiling and telling me I had chosen a great Kane name for Alexander when she met him. I still have the children's animal encyclopaedia that they gave us on a visit to the farm and my knitted toys from Auntie Dolly and the scrapbook she sent me, which I am sure Mary and Bernice probably helped with. Sending a hug to you Robyn who did so much for them both. How lucky they were to have you, especially in these last years when they needed extra help with everything. Mary had a good and long life and I hope the service on Tuesday is a celebration of this.
