On Friday, August 21, 2026, peacefully in Christchurch, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Barbara for 60 years, cherished Dad and father-in-law of Morgan and Chuenkamon, Louise and Michael, loved Grandad of Praewa, brother-in-law of Beverley, and Paul, uncle of Karelia, Grant, Bryce, Joanne, Christine, Ben, and Rebecca. During his travel career, Glynn was on the Board of the Travel Agents Association of New Zealand (TAANZ).  He was a Life Member of the Canterbury Rugby Referees Association (CRRA) and part of the Coach, Appointments and Junior Panel.
