After a day full of laughter and love, Hazel passed away peacefully in her sleep, just after midnight on August 22, 2026. Dearly loved wife of the late Ted, much loved Mum of Carol and Troy, gorgeous Nana of Letitia and Danny, and Daniel and Arnora. Loved Old Nanny of Ryder, and Zaydee; Bently, Mila, Elsie-Rayne, and Cuba-Ted. Hazel was also a dearly loved Nana, Aunty, and friend to many. A celebration of Hazel’s life will be held at AvonPark, corner Kerrs and Pages Roads, Linwood, on Friday, August 28, at 10.30am, followed by burial at Ruru Lawn Cemetery, Raymond Road, Bromley, on what would have been Hazel and Ted’s 61st wedding anniversary.
