On Sunday, August 2, 2026, died peacefully surrounded by family, at Diana Isaac Retirement Village. Much loved wife of the late John, loved mother and mother-in-law of Ralph, Annabel and Chris, Jack and Helen, Tom and Rudy, adored grandmother of Kate; William, Emma; Nick; and grandmother to her fur grandbabies, Skippy and Gus.  Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Janet Shand, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545.
