On August 14, 2026, passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, in his 82^nd year. Jan leaves behind his dearly loved wife and best friend, Judith. Much loved father of Chantal, and Pascal, treasured Opa of Sensi, Millia, Olivia, and Cameron, and Great-Opa of Isa.
