On July 13, 2026, passed away peacefully at Charles Upham Retirement Village, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of Trish, much loved father and father-in-law of Jo and Marty, Gendie and Mike, Andy and Kate, and Prue and Martin. Treasured Pop of his 13 grandchildren, and Great-Grandad of his 8 great-grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Bruce and Rosie. Sincere thanks to the staff of Charles Upham (Hospital Wing) for their wonderful care of John. In accordance with family wishes, a private memorial service will be held.
