On April 16, 2026, passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, with family by his side, aged 71 years. Dearly loved husband of Irene, much loved father and father-in-law of Michael and Jennifer, Matthew, and Kylie and Tim, adored Grandpa of Harry; Xavier, Charlotte, and Ava.  Loved brother of David, Carol (deceased), Paul, and their families, loved brother-in-law of Mary and family.
