(Formerly of Reefton): Kath passed away peacefully at her home at Charles Upham Retirement Village, Rangiora on July 21, 2026. Dearly loved wife of the late Dominic O’Sullivan. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Ann and Chris, Peter and Mandy, Catherine and Andrew (deceased), Terry and Glenys, Patricia and Tony (deceased), and Greg and Samantha. Special Nana Kath of Hank, Toby and Haidee, Lucy and Henry, Patrick and Hannah, James and Maddie, Dylan, Kerryn, Grace, Daniel, and Christopher (both deceased), Josie and Jake, Frank and Esther, Emily and Ollie, and Callum. Adored great-grandmother of Piper, Oliver, Isobel, Poppy, Freddy and Oscar. Loved daughter of the late Jimmy and Maggie Mitchell (Cronadun). Loved sister of Beverley, Jackie, Noleen, and the late Marjorie, Annie, and Jimmy.  Loved aunt and friend to many, she will be sadly missed. Special thanks go to the team at Charles Upham, who have provided excellent care over the last eight years. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St Mary and St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, (Chevier Centre), 41 Victoria Street, Rangiora, on Friday, July 24, at 10.00am. Kath will be interred with Dom at Balcairn Cemetery, Hurunui, following the service.
