On Thursday, August 13, 2026, passed away peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice after a brave battle with cancer, aged 87 years. Dearly loved daughter of the late Len and Mona. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Gary and Jan. Adored aunt of Geoffrey and Emma. Cherished great-aunt of Tara, and Cullen. Loved and respected cousin of the Westwood clan. Sesquicentennial Medal recipient in 1990. Many thanks to the staff of Ngaio Marsh for their compassionate care of Lois. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St Gregory’s Catholic Church, 26 Cotswold Avenue, Bishopdale, on Tuesday,  August 25, at 12:00pm, followed by interment of ashes at Belfast Cemetery.
