(13.04.1947 – 29.08.2026): On August 29, 2026, peacefully at Bainswood on Victoria, Rangiora, surrounded by family, aged 79 years. Loved son of the late Bill and Agnes Brereton. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Deane, much loved father and father-in-law of Kellie and Matt, Tracy and Jody, Andrew and Jo, treasured Poppa of Lachie, and Sam. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Lois and the late Micky, Kay (deceased) and John, Alan, Michael and Anne, Chris and Carolyn, Tony, Gill and Liz, Shelley and Bryce, and brother-in-law of Grant and Tina, Kerrie and Colin, and the late Lynne and Norm.
