On May 6, 2026, passed away suddenly at home, aged 76 years.  Dearly loved and treasured husband of Shelley, generous and vibrant Dad of Adele, Paula, Daniel and Casey, and Brenda, proud and adored Grandad of Brodie, and Kade; Jordy, Georgia, and Maddison; Liam, and Max; Catherine, Olivia, and James, and loving “GG” to his darling Arlo.
Favourite youngest son of the late Dolly and Super, loved brother of Mary Fenemor, and the late Harry. First rate uncle, brother-in-law and friend to many.
Frank valued his mates, Monday farmer nights, and his special time volunteering at RDA, a highlight of his life he proudly shared.  Frank had a special way of making everyone feel like they were his favourites, and he was ours.  Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Frank Shrives, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers donations to Riding for the Disabled would be appreciated and may be made online at: rda.org.nz/donate.  A service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held at The Show Gate Lounge, Riccarton Park Racecourse, 165 Racecourse Road, Christchurch, on Wednesday, May 13, at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation.
