On Thursday, May 7, 2026, Buck passed away peacefully at Park Lane Retirement Village, aged 98 years, surrounded by family. Dearly loved husband of Angie for 70 years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Philip [deceased], Rachael and Frank, Chris and Rosie, Michelle and Cris, and Sarah and Martin. Beloved grandfather of 14 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 9. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Park Lane for their compassionate care of Buck. Rest in peace

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Nazareth House Chapel, 220 Brougham St, Sydenham, on Friday, May 15 at 11:30am, followed by interment at Shands Road Cemetery.
