Passed away peacefully at Burwood Hospital, Christchurch, on September 14, 2026, aged 87 years. Born October 26, 1938. Dearly loved husband of the late Lynette. Loved father and father-in-law of Craig and Anna, Steffany and Simon, and Matthew and Emma. Adored Grandad of Libby, Tessa, Holly, Taylor, Henry, and Albie. Loved brother of the late Murray, and Gillian. A Christchurch Boys’ High old boy, chartered accountant, lifelong cricketer and Round Tabler, Russell will be remembered for his love of family, his mates and a good yarn.
