On August 20, 2026, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, with family by his side, in his 100th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Nancy, much loved Dad and father-in-law of Stuart and Lillian, Kevin and Frances, and the late Barbara, Lance and Mary, cherished Grandad of Hayley and Erroll, Lara and Greg; Martha and Simon, Isaac and Brittany, Angus; Olivia and Gareth, Emma and Aaron, Georgina and Dave, and Sam and Natalie, loved Great-Grandad of Varraconn, Korvus; Kohen, Kyran, Mika; Gwen, Abe; Aubrey; Blake, Arthur; Leo, Ted; Braxton, Taylor; Mia-Rose, Sebastian, and Felicity.
