On October 18, 2023, aged 83 years, finally at peace, following a long health battle. Dearly loved daughter of the late Eva and Archie McPherson, sister and sister-in-law of the late Merion and Ian Smith (Wellington); and Robin (deceased) and Margaret McPherson (Lincoln), partner of the late Gavin McGibbon, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend.  Long-serving nurse at St George’s Hospital, and life member of the Mt Cheeseman Ski Club. The family would like to thank Dr Su Bargh and staff of the Bryndwr Medical Rooms, Nurse Maude, St John Ambulance, Burwood Hospital and Christchurch Public Hospital for their wonderful care of Jean.
