Work commitments have prevented me from getting to Christchurch today but I will watch on Livestream for sure. Dayaram was a top man and I certainly enjoyed the many yarns we had over the years. Hard but always fair in my business dealings with him but away from that a friendly and caring man and someone I will always consider a mate. RIP Dayaram and thinking of Jo and his whanau on this sad day.

A sad loss. While I could not be there in person I will watch the livestream. I know that his spirit and legacy will live on.
