On Sunday, May 21, 2023, aged 70 years, Evan passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Margreet Vissers, loving father and father-in-law of Olivia Webb and Noel Meek, Maria Webb and Harry Knight, and Heather Webb. Cherished son of the late Rowly and Greta Webb, and loved son-in-law of the late Frank and Tilly Vissers. Treasured brother and brother-in-law of Helen and Graeme Johnson, Maria Lawrence, Wilbert and Bev Vissers, Francis (Franc) Vissers and Shirley Henry, Anna Maria Vissers and Pat Kenna. Loved uncle of his many nieces and nephews.  We are grateful for his lifetime of giving and service to family, community, and the Arts.

A Service to recognise Evan’s life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch, on Thursday, May 25, at 2.00pm, private cremation thereafter. There will be an opportunity to attend Mass with Evan’s family at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral, 373 Manchester Street, Christchurch, on Thursday, at 9.15am.
