Please forgive me for using this Guest book but I am in Ireland right now and did not know how best to contact you to offer my sympathy. I am a member of the Plainsmen and have known Ged since I joined about 5 years ago. What a character he was! He was very committed to the Chorus and had a wonderful bass voice. I’m so thrilled he was able to win a Gold Medal with the Chorus in 2023. He was welcoming and supportive to me as a new member and was a raconteur par excellence. He frequently spoke with pride and love of his family. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend his funeral and sing one more time for him.
