I was so sad to learn of Glenn's passing last weekend. Glenn and I attended North New Brighton Primary school together and kept in touch over the years. We were fortunate to have a NNB kids turn 50 years old reunion 8 years ago which we all enjoyed and I loved catching with Glenn at that and other smaller gatherings over the past few years. I feel so sad that Glenn was taken so young. Rest in peace Glenn and know that you were loved and appreciated for your friendship and happy smile. I am sorry that I cannot make the funeral but I will view via the livestream. Go well my friend. xoxo Anita B

I am extremely sad to hear of Glenn's passing. This has come as a huge shock to me as Glenn is someone in my age group and it really makes you stop and think about life. I have many memories of time at North New Brighton School in the 1970s where Glenn and his friends invented the nickname of Biggins for me. I'm pretty sure it related to my height and not anything else, LOL. I was never offended. I remember seeing Glenn walking past my house in Bowhill Road, off to the New Brighton Rugby Club and I also remember going into Harris Butchery in New Brighton. My late mother often had conversations with Jean while out in the community. Glenn was an all-round happy guy who always stopped to chat and have a catch up. Glenn will be sadly missed and I am thinking of you all at this difficult time. I am unable to attend the service as I live in Picton but I will watch it via the video link. My sincere condolences, Jane.
