Kirsty passed away on May 19, 2026, after a long and brave battle, surrounded by her loving family, aged 49 years. Dearly loved wife of Jonathan, devoted mother of Mark, and Emma. Loved daughter of Joan, and John Macdonald, cherished sister and sister-in-law of Sharyn and Graeme Robb, and Kim and Julian Gormack, loved daughter-in-law of Adrianne and the late Jeff Cox.
Loved sister-in-law of Nicholas Cox and Sarah Dobson, treasured aunty of Liam, and Barrett; Andreas, and Ollie; and Bradley.
While our hearts are broken, we take solace in having shared a life full of happiness, laughter, and love.
Thank you to everyone for reaching out, visiting, and giving support over the past weeks and months. The love and care shown by so many brought a smile to Kirsty’s face and only proved what she meant to us all.

A service to celebrate Kirsty’s life will be held at Oaklands, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Thursday, May 28, at 10.30am.
At Kirsty’s request, she wanted everyone to wear nice bright colours.
