Dear Kirsty and Family, I am sending a message to let you know that I am here to support you and your family. My prayers are with you. When anyone within our skating community, friends and family face a challenge, we all feel the pain. Trust me, I have been through my own health issues so give you 100% of my support. I wish I was there to be with you but of course, I am almost half way around the world. Be strong my friends! Kirsty, you were a blessing to me when I moved to New Zealand in 1997. Even today, I cherish your enthusiasm for ice skating and you made me feel welcome in a foreign country not only as your coach but as your friend. I send hugs, Kevin Poit
