Apart from his years on the staff at Burnside High (I am unsure if he taught any of my junior high classes), Neville made a big contribution to the local amateur music scene that various members of my own family were heavily involved in. I had a fascinating trip down memory lane this afternoon putting his name into the Papers Past site and seeing all of the vocal productions that he took a leading role in, including at least two where he appeared alongside my late brother Mark Dunford in the Jubilate Singers. I am sure that Jim, Sally, Mark and Neville are all having a great time in the heavenly choirs.
