On May 27, 2024, passed away  peacefully at Ilam Lifecare, after a courageous ten year battle, aged 73 years. Dearly loved partner of Malcolm Smart, much loved Mum of Jamie Smart.

A service to celebrate Ruth’s life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Tuesday June 4, at 10.00am, followed by a private cremation.
