So sad to hear of Val’s passing. We enjoyed getting to know her when she came to live with Jan in Hamilton. She had a marvellous sense of humour. It was our privilege to know her. She died on the date of my own mother’s death and they shared many similarities. Both were loving, sincere women who felt great pride in their families. Aroha nui Val
