Anne Barton, So very sorry for the loss of your big brother John. I know how much you both loved each other and that affection clearly showed when you were together. I am sure that as you hold John in your memory and your heart you will know that he will always be there for you. You are surrounded there by your family and John's friends so know that you are never alone.

Shaz and family We are sharing this service as you farewell John - both of us sporting a bit of yella and celebrating a life lived to the full. John the entrepreneur was unstoppable and his success well earned, reflecting his dedication and hard work. We are sorry not to be there with you but in sharing your day we remember John for the remarkable man he was to so many people. All our love Bill and Mary

My thoughts and prayers remain with the family as we all come to terms with and process John's sudden passing. John was a man of many hats who touched people’s lives in different ways throughout the duration of his life. This was demonstrated in today’s beautiful ceremony. As we grieve in different ways, I hold fast to the practice of gratitude, maintaining an open mind and heart, alongside having the courage to find forgiveness including, at times, forgiving of self. I know we can all find elements of comfort and joy in the collective memories we hold of John. Some memories I hold dear are our long beach walks and the many shells we collected along the way. I chuckle now at the multiple times you fixed my VW beetle and yes it was yellow! It is with love and peace in my heart that I say, Rest in peace Dad, AKA, Fatherlegs.
